Great news! We're being showcased at the 2012 NXNE festival in Toronto. I'm so excited. I love this festival. So much great music, and so much great information given to indie artists. It's not always easy being an independent musician, which is why events like NXNE are so important.  For bands like us, who are still starting out, every bit of help we receive is so appreciated. When someone tells someone else about your music - that means the world. When someone decides to come out to your show for the first time - that means the world. When someone writes something nice about you in a magazine or newspaper - the world! And when you're invited to play at a great festival like NXNE - that means the world too!

We'd love to see you at The Central in Toronto on Wednesday, June 13 at 11pm. Come cheer us on, and if you're not in Toronto but know people who are, please pass on the information. Your support really means everything.

Here's a picture from the last show in Toronto. We played at the Free Times in Toronto earlier this month, and here I am putting on some makeup in the green room microwave.

We've started a new video series, From the Fort, where I'll be singing from a homemade fort in our house! I'm hoping to have some of the band join me for performances. The first video features Steve and I playing Little Bird from the Spring EP.
This is a great way for me to start sharing some songs with you, leading up to the new shows I'm booking. And it's very nice on a cold winter's night, to get all cozy under some quilts and twinkle lights, and play some music!

We spent all of 2011 writing and recording a series of 4 Seasonal EPs. Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall have now all been completed and released, and here we are, back in Winter. The plan for this year is to get these 20 new songs out into the world by playing as many shows as we can, and in my downtime I'll be writing my next full-length album!
